A statewide rally to support Israel has been called for 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 27, at the State Capitol.
Americans against Terrorism, convenor of the rally, called on Coloradoans who support Israels right of self-defense to gather on the West steps of the Capitol.
Spokesperson Tsivya Frieder said, Israels ground campaign into Gaza is the only effective response in view of Hamas vow to keep firing rockets until it destroys Israel. In recent weeks more than 1,200 rockets have been fired at civilian neighborhoods in every area of Israel.
It is time to let Israel win and dismantle the terrorist structure embedded in Gaza, which Israel evacuated in 2005.
Since then over 5,000 missiles have rained down on cities in Israel.
