Personal training meets specific needs

David EshkenaziBy Ben Gilliland

David Eshkenazi, a personal trainer with more than 15 years of experience, has recently relocated to Denver, making his services available to clients along the Front Range.

Eshkenazi served in the Israeli Defense Forces as a paratrooper, and after completing his service attended the Wingate Institute where he was certified in sports instruction and fitness training.

“I became a personal trainer to help people reach their goals,” says Eshkenazi.

After completing his studies Eshkenazi moved to Los Angeles in 1997 and became certified as a personal trainer through the AFAA (Aerobics & Fitness Assn. of America.). He finally established his own personal training business, “David On-Site” in 1999.

Eshkenazi works with clients as young as 12 and as old as 99. He trains healthy clients as well as those with physical and medical problems.

“Seventy-five percent of my clients are retired or senior citizens. No one else wants to help them, but I will,” says Eshkenazi.

He creates a training schedule for each individual to address his or her specific needs. This allows Eshkenazi to use different exercises to achieve his clients’ goals.

“I listen to my clients. I make sure that I know their medical background, work schedule and anything else that will help me design a program that fits their needs.

“This is my profession; I take it very seriously. I really care about my clients and helping them reach their goals not only on a professional level, but a personal level as well.”
