Patricia Berlau Buckstein, a native Denverite and lifelong resident, died in a scuba diving accident Feb. 22, 2009, in Socorro Islands, Mexico.
The service was held March 2, with Rabbi Steven Foster officiating. Interment took place at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
She was the finest example of a giving and caring person, said her husband Sandy Buckstein. She lit up any room she was in. Anybody who met her for even a moment was touched by her.
Patricia Berlau was born May 15, 1954, in Denver.
She received her BS from CU and worked as a nurse practitioner.
On April 30, 2002, she married Sandy Buckstein.
Mrs. Buckstein is survived by her husband Sandy Buckstein; siblings Beverly Braaten and Steve Berlau; and nieces and nephews Kari and Nina Braaten and Ali and Dan Berlau.
