Pamela Sue Wagner

Pamela Sue Wagner passed away Aug. 2, 2008 at her home outside of Byers, Colorado. She was 56.

Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

Mrs. Wagner was born on Aug. 1, 1952, in Westbury, New York where she spent most of her childhood. It was there that she first developed an interest in horses.

She had a great passion for the harness-racing industry. She worked on racetracks as a groomer and trainer growing up, and later in life as a breeder.

Mrs. Wagner also worked for about 25 years in state government. She served the state of Colorado’s higher education system and most recently the Department of Natural Resources in various capacities.

Pam loved living in Colorado and was enthusiastic about its natural resources. She was a fan of all Colorado sports teams, especially the Avalanche.

Mrs. Wagner is survived by her husband of 25 years, Gary; her brothers, Steve (Mary) and Brian (Robin), and sister, Dena (Wade); brothers and sister-in-law Terry, Rick and Debbie (Alan); two nieces, Kerry (Rob) and Jessica; and one nephew, Wade IIII.
