Oct. 7 vigil at DU accuses Israel of genocide

Monday, Oct. 7, was a day of mourning for the world Jewish community, marking the one-year anniversary of the Hamas massacre of more than 1,200 Israelis and others, an attack that triggered the war in Gaza and now in Lebanon. It was also a day of mourning at the University of Denver campus. But there, in a “Vigil for Palestine” sponsored by a group called DU4Palestine and other anti-Israel actors, the goal was to “Come together to mourn and remember our martyrs after 1 year of genocide.”
