Longtime Denver resident Rose Pinchuk passed away on June 22, 2023. She was 88. A service was held on June 25 at Fairmount Cemetery, officiated by Rabbi Sarah Shulman and Eitan Kantor. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
A native of Montreal, Que., Canada, Mrs. Pinchuk was born on January 20, 1935. She attended Macdonald College and began her career as a teacher.
In September, 1956, Jack and Rose Pinchuk were married. They remained a couple for over 51 years until Mr. Pinchuk’s passing in May, 2008.
Mr. and Mrs. Pinchuk moved to Denver in 1984. Mrs. Pinchuk became office manager of the family automotive repair business.
Later, she became an office administrator at Kaiser Permanente until her retirement.
Her family said Mrs. Pinchuk was known as the consummate host for family gatherings and celebrations, and was an expert cook and baker. She also loved skiing with her family.
“She put aside her own career as a teacher to raise her kids while our dad was running and growing the family business in Montreal,” her family said. “She was the host that wanted everyone to feel comfortable in her home. She had a fighting spirit that carried her to the end.”
Survivors include children Mitchell (Debbie) Pinchuk, Zina (Gary) Rodehorst and Ian (Arianne) Pinchuk; and grandchildren Joseph, Benjamin and Ashlee Rodehorst, and Madelyn Pinchuk.
