Longtime Denver resident Ellen Lampert Pollock passed away on May 2, 2025. She was 64. A service was held on May 5 at HEA with interment at Emanuel Cemetery, officiated by Rabbi Sarah Shulman. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
A native of Dallas, born on November 13, 1960, Ms. Pollock attended the University of Texas at Austin and in 1983 received a degree in petroleum land management.
Ms. Pollock worked in oil and gas as a landman in New Orleans, Casper, Wyo., and Oklahoma City before moving to Denver in 1989.
“Ellen had a tenacious spirit,” her family said. “She was honest, opinionated and stood up for what she believed in. She was a relentless advocate for her three children.
“She had an uncanny ability to connect with those around her.
“She often bonded with complete strangers over a single shared experience or acquaintance, or made them laugh with a witty, sarcastic remark.”
Survivors are Ms. Pollock’s children Ethan, Cameron and Will; brother Wayne (Pninit) Lampert; sister Gail (David) Greenberg and former husband Eric.
