Victor Chayet
Denver native Victor Scott Chayet passed away on December 12, 2025, at the age of 59. A service was held on December 16 at Temple Emanuel, with interment at Emanuel Cemetery.
Mr. Chayet’s family said: “Victor’s work revolved around understanding how marketing communications strategies can create desired behavior in targeted audiences.
“He was fortunate to have a career with some of the smartest people in the field, both as colleagues and in partnership with the world’s best communications agencies.
“He led teams around the world and conducted business on six of seven continents.”
Survivors are Mr. Chayet’s wife of 29 years, Susan; son Devon; siblings Lance (Barbara), Marco (Paige) and Nicole (Evan).
“He was known for his intellect, kindness, humor and love,” his family said.
Contributions may be made to the Stuart Collection at the University of California San Diego or Von’s Vision Foundation.
William Horwitz
Denver native and US Navy veteran William “Billy” Horwitz died on December 28, 2025. He was 87. A service was held on January 6 in Hollywood Hills, Calif. Mt. Sinai Memorial Parks & Mortuaries made the arrangements.
Born on September 8, 1938, Mr. Horwitz grew up on Denver’s West Side. He attended North High School and served in the US Navy.
After completing his service, Mr. Horwitz built a career in banking, where colleagues knew him as steady, thoughtful and unwaveringly fair.
“Outside of work, Billy found joy in the simple pleasures that made life rich,” his family said. “He was an avid golfer who relished early tee times and the camaraderie of the course and his friends.
“He loved to travel with his wife and did so extensively across the world. He was a lifelong Lakers fan, cheering with equal parts passion and optimism through every season.”
Survivors are Mr. Horwitz’s wife Diana; children David, Steven, Anu and April, and grandchildren Dilan, Jalen, Nora and Nathan.
Richard Arnold
Dr. Richard “Dick” Arnold died on January 19, 2026. He was 82. A service was held on January 22 at Congregation Beth Evergreen, officiated by Rich Levine. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Dr. Arnold was the father of Beth Evergreen Rabbi Jamie Arnold.
Born in Dearborn, Mich., in March, 1943, Dr. Arnold was a clinical psychologist, receiving his PhD at the University of North Carolina. The bulk of his career was in private practice in Rochester, NY.
Dr. Arnold and his wife Ellen moved to Evergreen eight years ago.
“They celebrated their 60th anniversary this past summer by touring parts of Colorado that they had yet to explore — Black Canyon, and taking a train through Durango,” the family said.
Survivors are Dr. Arnold’s wife Ellen; sons Rabbi Jamie Arnold and Dr. Russ (Ginger) Arnold; siblings Jean Picard and Peg Luck; and grandchildren Talior, Jonah (Sophia), Mickey, Isaac and Asher.
