Elaine Greenberg
Denver native Elaine Louise Greenberg died on July 24, 2024 in Aurora. A service was held on July 28 at Mt. Nebo Cemetery, officiated by Rabbi Yaakov Chaitovsky. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mrs. Greenberg was born on Oct. 25, 1933 in Denver.
She received her high school diploma from East High School and was involved with BBG. She worked as a secretary.
In addition to Denver and Aurora, Mrs. Greenberg also lived in Sacramento, Calif. and in several towns in Illinois throughout her life.
An avid music lover, Mrs. Greenberg was a longtime member of Shir Ami Singers and was also involved with USO.
“Mom always loved Elvis Presley,” the family said, which “made her very easy to buy for.
“She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with all her heart. She wore several hats in her lifetime, but the one of being a mother suited her best.”
Elaine Greenberg is survived by children Fran Greenberg, Debbie Dunn and Dave Greenberg; grandchildren Josh Dunn, Skylar and Brandon Lowery, and Katie Williams.
She was predeceased by grandchild Jardena Martinez and great-grandchildren Chase and Jameson Martinez.

Rose Berlinberg
Rose Berlinberg died on July 20, 2024. She was 92. A service was held on July 23 at Mt. Nebo Cemetery, officiated by Jay Siegel. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mrs. Berlinberg’s family fled from Palawy, Poland to Michigan, where she was born on March 9, 1932, in Detroit. She married Joe Berlinberg in October, 1953, and the couple lived in Del Ray Beach, Fla. Mr. Berlinberg passed away in December, 1992.
“Suddenly, she had to go from being a dependent housewife to facing life as an individual,” Mrs. Berlinberg’s family said. “She became president of her singles group.
“Grandkids came in the late ‘80s and ‘90s, then great grandkids in the last four years. She was able to experience the joy and growth of her family when she moved here to Denver for the last four years of her life.”
Survivors are children Alan (Leslie) Berlinberg and Craig (Jacki) Berlinberg; grandchildren Adam (Cheris), Jason (Laura), Eric, Kelsey, Elyse, Kayla and Jenna; and great-grandchildren Jora, Micah and Jack.

Mike Perlmutter
Longtime Denver resident Mike Perlmutter passed away on July 8, 2024, at the age of 76. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. Feldman Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
A native of Wichita, Kan., Mr. Perlmutter grew up on Denver’s West Side. He attended Colfax Elementary School. After moving to the East Side he attended Hill Junior High School and Harker Preparatory School in Washington, DC.
After graduating from CU with a degree in business, Mr. Perlmutter worked for his father at Pre-Stressed Concrete before owning a retail business with his wife, Debbie Perlmutter.
“Mike had a wicked sense of humor, that he never lost,” said Mrs. Perlmutter. “He loved golf and was reduced to watching it on TV, but still loved it and wished he could be out there too.”
Survivors are Mr. Perlmutter’s wife Debbie; son Noah Perlmutter; and siblings Mark (Barbara) Perlmutter, Jan (Rande Smith) McCarty and Jean Perlmutter.
