Donna Kornfeld
Denver native Donna Kornfeld passed away August 28, 2022. She was 90. A service was held Aug. 31 at Mt. Nebo Cemetery, officiated by Cantor Marty Goldstein. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mrs. Kornfeld attended East High School, CU Boulder and graduated from DU. She and her late husband, Edwin Kornfeld, ran City Floral for 40 years.
In addition, Mrs. Kornfeld was active in local government and volunteered at the Denver Public Library; she read books on audio tape for the blind.
An avid traveler, Mrs. Kornfeld visited over 90 countries.
“She loved to learn about anything and was a fierce critic of everything else,” her family said. “She was never afraid to speak her mind with candidates about current issues.”
“She always questioned why, and how things could be improved,” her family added.
Survivors include sons Douglas Kornfeld, Tom (Sara) Kornfeld and Richard (Kimmie Hoang) Kornfeld; and four grandchildren.

Robert “Bob” Grossman
Robert “Bob” Grossman passed away on August 26, 2022. He was 79. A service was held Sept. 1 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, officiated by Rabbi Levi Lebovits. Arrangements were made by Feldman Mortuary.
Mr. Grossman was a Denver native, and grew up in Taft, Calif. He worked mostly in sales in the food industry and in the home improvement industry.
“He was always quick with a joke and had a great sense of humor,” his family said. “He was always kind to others and loved his kids and grandkids.”
According to his family, Mr. Grossman was also an avid sports fan, and loved classic cars.
Survivors include sons Scott (Amy) Grossman and Steve (Teresa Richardson) Grossman; and four grandchildren. He is also mourned by his significant other, Nola Porter.

Julian Levy
Denver native Julian Levy died on July 9, 2022, at the age of 94. A service was held July 12 at Emanuel Cemetery, officiated by Rabbi Steven Foster. Arrangements were made by Feldman Mortuary.
Mr. Levy was born on April 14, 1928 and grew up on Denver’s West Side, where he attended Lake Junior High School. His family said “he graduated with honors from the ‘School-of-Hard-Knocks,’ excelling in many trades.”
He was “a true mensch and self-made man,” his family added. “He wasn’t just a jack-of-all trades, but a master-of-all trades.”
Mr. Levy had many vocational endeavors, and eventually settled into Denver’s commercial real estate market.
Survivors include daughters Adrienne Nelson and Nancy Levy; and four grandchildren.
