No pediatric oncology unit in Jerusalem

heated — echo chamber I might add — discussions are still taking place about where and how to pray at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem, the painful Hadassah Hospital controversy that began in March has still yet to be resolved. While people are focusing about how to pray, the cancer-stricken children of Jerusalem are in need of actual prayer. I don’t know the precise nature of this conflict. Like most people I have not been privy to insider, behind-closed-door discussions. The press has painted the conflict as one of rising tensions between the Hadassah pediatric hematology-oncology unit doctors, versus the more recently appointed Hadassah CEO, Zeev Rotstein, assigned by Health MInIster Yaakov Litzman to rehabilitate the hospital financially.
