Newcomers to Denver speak

Who would ever want to move to Colorado? Ridiculous question, right? We Coloradans know very well what a wonderful place we live in, the state where, as a certain local newspaper has been reminding us for over a century, 'Tis a privilege to live. So we know it and appreciate it and, sometimes rather smugly, like to remind others from elsewhere of it. But what about those others from elsewhere, from cities and states that shall remain nameless, quite a few of whom have already packed their bags and embarked on their exodus to this promised land of the Rocky Mountains?
