Myron ‘Mike’ Rubin

Myron L. “Mike” Rubin, a lawyer and native Denverite, passed away May 22, 2018, in Littleton. Rabbi Brian Immerman officiated at the May 27 graveside service at Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

“Mike was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and uncle,” the family said.

“He loved his family and sports, especially his beloved Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies, Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche.

“Mike was an avid reader who particularly enjoyed magazines, and was an excellent conversationalist on a wide variety of topics.

“He will be sorely missed by his family and friends.”

Mr. Rubin was born April 13, 1933, in Denver.

After graduating East High School in 1951, Mr. Rubin was accepted to three Ivy League colleges but attended DU on scholarship for financial reasons.

He later graduated from New York University.

Mr. Rubin served in the US Air Force from 1956 to 1984, including two years of active duty.

On March 19, 1962, he married Sandra Jean Wahl.

Mr. Rubin lived in Denver, San Antonio, Texas, and Los Angeles, San Jose and Santa Rosa, Calif.

Mike Rubin is survived by his wife Sandy Rubin of Lone Tree, Colo.; children Steve (Rebecca) Rubin of Cheyenne, Wyo., Cindy (Mitch) Middler of Hermosa Beach, Calif., and Mark (Michelle) Rubin of Lone Tree; sisters Glenny (Dave) Patron and Miriam (Robert) Solomon; and grandchildren Dustin Rubin, Raymond Rubin, Zander Rubin, Skyler Middler, Alexandra Middler, Max Rubin, Myles Rubin, Mia Rubin, Darius Wimbley, Derrick Wimbley and Lauren Wimbley.
