Muriel Gloria Stiefler passed away June 19, 2013, in Denver. Rabbi Joe Black officiated at the graveside service at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mrs. Stiefler was born March 3, 1925, to Abe and Celia Rothberg on Denvers West Side.
She graduated East High and went to the University of Nebraska, where she met her future husband William Stiefler.
Rabbi Gershon Hadas married the couple at the Mulebach Hotel in Kansas City during WW II.
They settled in Denver after the war.
A voracious reader and an avid card player, Mrs. Stiefler loved being around her children and grandchildren above everything else.
Predeceased by her husband, she spent the last years of her life at Shalom Park.
Mrs. Stiefler is survived by her children Richard (Paule) Stiefler. Kenneth (Pab) Stiefler and Gary (Leslie) Stiefler; grandchildren Raquelle and Davram Stiefler, Heather Horii and Lauren Stiefler; and great-grandchildren Jayden and Madison Horii.
