Mother’s Day

In the grocery stores, not far from the carts loaded with marked-down Passover inventory, are displays of Mother’s Day cards. They make it very convenient to remember Mom.

The displays are divided by categories with cards for mothers, mothers-in-law, stepmothers, grand- mothers, great-grandmothers, wives, first-year mothers, aunts, wives, and “like a mother to me.” And there are categories for the givers of the cards including “both of us,” “all of us”  and even four-legged “children.”

Whatever category you fall in, Happy Mother’s Day.
