Moneta Axler-Bailey

Moneta Axler-Bailey, a native Denverite and lifelong resident, passed away March 17, 2017, in Aurora. Newcomer Mortuary made the funeral arrangements.

“Moneta cared deeply about her family and friends and took pleasure in spending time with her dogs Domino and Tucker,” the family said.

Mrs. Axler-Bailey was born July 30, 1939, in Denver. She graduated East High School and attended the University of Arizona for one year.

She married Jan Bailey on May 16, 2001.

Mrs. Axler-Bailey worked at Husky Oil Company.

She belonged to Hadassah and the National Council of Jewish Women.

Mrs. Axler-Bailey is survived by her husband Jan Bailey of Denver; daughter Suzette (Timothy) Novak of Shelby Township, Mich.; grandchildren Casey and Kara Novak; and her sister Francine (Joel) Piell.
