Molly Bloom, 101, passed away March 7, 2010, in Scottsdale, Ariz. Rabbi Bruce Dollin officiated at the March 10 graveside service at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Gramma was the last of her 13 brothers and sisters to pass away, the grandchildren said. She loved to play poker, had a great sense of humor, a big heart and bright blue smiling eyes.
Mrs. Bloom was born Feb. 25, 1909, in Denver. She left high school to support her family.
Molly Cohen married Ben Bloom in July, 1929. Mr. Bloom died on March 6, 1996.
Mrs. Bloom, who worked as a bookbinder at Eden Printing and Rocky Mountain Banknote, was active at the JCC.
She is survived by daughter Bette (Marvin) Lederman; grandchildren Teri (Jon) Sebastian, John (Kim) Hansen, Jodi Nolet and Jill Smith; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Bloom was predeceased by her daughter Janyce Bloom Hansen on Sept. 21, 1984.
