Mitzi Troutfelt

Mitzi Troutfelt, a Denver native, passed away May 16, 2017, in Citrus Heights, Calif. Rabbi Alan Rabishaw was scheduled to officiate at the June 9 service at Fair Oaks Cemetery. Cochran & Wagermann made the arrangements.

“Mitzi will be remembered by her friends and family for her infectious laugh, love of Elvis Presley, enjoying chocolate cake for breakfast and her incredible sense of style,” said her daughter Terri.

“She will be missed by everyone who enjoyed spending time with her while playing cards, Bunco, lunch dates, shopping at Macy’s or just sitting at her kitchen table.

“Mom, I love you and miss you so very much. You are forever in our hearts.”

Mitzi was born Sept. 25, 1934, in Denver and attended North High School.

She was married to Robert Troutfelt, who passed away on Dec. 6, 1986.

A resident of Sacramento and Rocklin, Calif., she then moved to Citrus Heights.

Mitzi Troutfelt is survived by her daughter Terri Hollister of Granite Bay, Calif., and son Gary Troutfelt; sister Lorayne Rosenfeldt of Denver; and grandchildren Kevin Lewin, Steven Lewin and Brad Troutfelt.

She is also mourned by her longtime companion Ted Nicolos.
