Millie Zerobnick, 97, an unforgettable personality in Denver’s Jewish community for decades, passed away June 4, 2021, in Denver. Rabbi Yaakov Meyer officiated at the June 6 graveside ceremony at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
“Millie was a kind and caring person,” her children said.
“She was always interested in everyone’s life, had the utmost respect for people and a great sense of humor.
“Our mom was a lady.”
Millie Wedgle was born Oct. 19, 1923 in Denver.
She married Jack Zerobnick on June 24, 1947. Mr. Zerobnick passed away on Dec. 13, 2018.
A homemaker, Mrs. Zerobnick loved her family, the Jewish holidays, and playing games and sports — especially golf. She hit three holes-in-one.
Millie Zerobnick is survived by her children Michael Zerobnick and Richard Zerobnick, both of Denver; sister Rosetta Steinberg of Denver; brother-in-law Walter Halper of Denver; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Contributions in her name may be made to East Denver Orthodox Synagogue or Aish of the Rockies.
