Michael Handler, former owner of Michael Handler, Inc. furniture and flooring store in Denver, passed away Feb. 21, 2009, in Denver. Feldman Mortuary handled the arrangements.
A celebration of life service is scheduled Saturday, Feb. 28, 2 p.m., at Park Place, 111 Emerson.
Mr. Handler was born Jan. 8, 1918, in New York, NY.
He married Estelle Balsky on Oct. 31, 1937. The couple moved to Denver in 1949.
Mr. Handler is survived by his wife Estelle Handler of Denver; son Herbert (Phyllis) Handler and daughter Alice (Scott) Alban, both of Denver; and seven grandchildren.
