Maximizing waste

is not about money. This is not about animal rights. This is not about asceticism vs. materialism. This is not about kids in Africa who don’t have enough to eat. This is not about caterers. Not about dieting. Not about the law. This is about waste. Nothing more, nothing less. Even if some billionaire out there would be more than happy to pay for a lavish meal at everyone’s simcha, this is still wrong. Waste is waste.
