Mary Goldberg

Mary GoldbergMary Goldberg, a lifelong Denver resident and former employee for the State of Colorado, passed away Dec. 7, 2012, in Denver. Rabbi Steven Foster officiated at the Dec. 9 funeral service held at Temple Emanuel’s Feiner Chapel. Interment followed at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

“Mary’s life was filled with family and friends,” her loved ones said. “She enjoyed traveling and her weekly card games until her health began to fail. She was a lovely, kind lady that will be sorely missed.”

Born on March 23, 1917, Mrs. Goldberg attended Colfax Elementary, Lake Junior High and North High School.

On June 12, 1938, she married Marvin Stack Goldberg. Mr. Goldberg passed away in October, 1978.

After working for the State of Colorado, Mrs. Goldberg later went into retail and sold children’s clothing at Donna’s and Merry Simmons Children’s Stores.

Mrs. Goldberg is survived by her children Stephan Goldberg, Lenny (Joan) Goldberg and Bonnie (Jordan) Saliman; grandchildren Kerri (Cameron Weprin) Saliman, Brian (Larry Mathews) Saliman, Jamie Saliman, Jacob Goldberg, Nicole Goldberg and Erica Goldberg; great-grandchildren Emmie and Nina Weprin; and brother Mort Kraut.
