Marvin Weinstein, a WW II veteran of the Pacific Theatre and former hardware store owner, passed away July 12, 2012, at Shalom Cares. He was 92.
Rabbis Joe Black and Steven Foster and Cantor Regina Heit officiated at the July 13 service held at Feiner Chapel at Temple Emanuel. Interment followed at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mr. Weinstein was born in Rochester, NY.
He and his wife Dorothy moved to Heather Gardens in Aurora 25 years ago to be near their children. Mrs. Weinstein predeceased her husband.
Mr. Weinstein worked part time at the former Big Tool Box hardware store in Aurora.
Mr. Weinstein is survived by his sister Della Cerasoli of Rochester; daughter Judy (Michael) Frieman and daughter-in-law Lita (the late Bruce) Weinstein; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his two sons, Stuart and Bruce.
