winning 7NEWS Denver reporter Marshall Zelinger may have gotten his formal training as a journalist in J School at CU-Boulder, but the most important skill that he uses “weeknights at 10” was one he learned in kindergarten Show-and-tell. Now, rather than bringing his favorite toy and showing the class how it works, Zelinger relies upon relentless investigative skills to find stories to tell, and an arsenal of high-tech toys to show them. This includes the “Zelistrator,” Channel 7’s large touch-screen computer monitor that Zelinger often uses. His colleagues named the gadget in his honor.
