Marshall Colin West passed away Dec. 15, 2011, in Parker, Colo. He was 23. Rabbi Sara Gilbert officiated at the Dec. 18 service at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Marshall had many close friends throughout his life, the family said. His engaging smile and kind nature will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mr. West was born May 24, 1988, and grew up in Parker.
He attended Chapparal High School, Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs and Aurora Community College.
An adventurous young man who loved the outdoors, Mr. West enjoyed snowboarding, hiking, rock climbing, white water rafting and camping.
He had an especially close relationship with his maternal grandmother.
Marshall is survived by his parents Rebecca Catalan (West) and Randy (Louise) West; his sister and best friend Marissa West; his grandmothers Norma Goldblatt and Iola West; and was loved by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
