Mark Miklin, general contractor and developer with the Miklin Corporation, passed away Aug. 9, 2009, in Denver.
Rabbis Steven Foster and Julian Cook and Cantor Regina Heit officiated at the Aug. 11 graveside service at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mark loved life, his family said. He survived a bone marrow transplant in 1995 and a kidney transplant in March, 2009.
Mr. Miklin was born June 4, 1942, in Munich, Germany. He lived in El Paso, Texas, before moving to Denver.
He attended East High, George Washington High and CSU.
Mr. Miklin married Karen Dokken Miklin on June 26, 1977.
A developer and general contractor, Mr. Miklin was a member of Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing.
Mr. Miklin is survived by his wife Karen Miklin of Denver; mother Mariam Miklin of Denver; children Alissa (Adam) Ulitzky, Carly Miklin and Tyler Miklin, all of Denver; granddaughter Bella Ulitzky of Denver; and brother Jerry (Freda) Miklin and sister Lorraine (Bruce) Greenstein of Denver.
