Luz N. Marcus, who cherished her family and friends, passed away April 4, 2012, in Lakewood. Rabbi Salomon Gruenwald and Cantor Martin Goldstein officiated at the April 5 graveside service at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mrs. Marcus was born Dec. 26, 1930, in Colombia, South America. She graduated high school and started university in South America before coming to the US.
A resident of Miami, Fla., and Statten Island, NY, she later moved to Denver.
Mrs. Marcus was predeceased by her husband Solomon Marcus in 1983.
In Denver, Mrs. Marcus was a salesperson at May D&F downtown and then Foleys. She received the Diamond Award from secret shoppers who nominated her for excellent customer service.
She loved her garden and her pets.
Mrs. Marcus is survived by her son Sam (Leah) Marcus; and grandchildren Daniel Marcus and Alexandra Lexi Marcus, all of Denver.
