Funeral services for Lisa Michelle Klumb, a native Denverite who worked as a medical professional, took place Aug. 1 at Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Rabbi Richard Rheins officiated at services for Ms. Klumb who passed away July 28 in Granby, Colo. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

She died unexpectedly while working as a camp nurse with her sister Traci at Adam’s Camp in Granby, Colo., a program for special needs children and adults, her family said.

Born Sept. 7, 1984 in Denver. Ms. Klumb earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and was designated as a Registered Nurse. She worked as an orthopedic nurse and operating room circulator and, most recently, as a nurse in pre- and post-op in a local surgery center.

“Lisa loved reading, movies and especially musical theater,” her family said. “Family was her priority, as were her dogs, Pumba and Nala.”

Ms. Klumb is survived by her parents, Lorie and Will Klumb of Englewood; her twin sister Traci Klumb of Englewood; aunts and uncles Bob Bohm and Linda Taconis of Satellite Beach, Fla., Rick and Lori Bohm of Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, Odette and Dave Kleidon of Westminster, George Klumb of Sonoma, Calif. and John and Pam Klumb of Golden; and cousins Allie and Daniel Bohm, Alex and Tina Kleidon and Sydney and Tyler Klumb. She was the granddaughter of the late Bill and Betty Klumb and the late Jack and Liz Bohm.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Adam’s Camp Colorado, 6767 S. Spruce St., Centennial, CO 80112; the Denver Dumb Friends League; or the charity of choice.
