Lily Levy Friedman, a native of London, England, and a longtime Denverite, passed away Feb. 13, 2009, in Denver. She was 94.
Cantor Maurice Weiss officiated at the Feb. 15 graveside service at Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
She was a lovely lady with a big heart, a constant smile and a kind word for everyone, the family said.
Born Aug. 16, 1914, in London, she became an American citizen in 1954.
She married her first husband Jack Levy on June 12, 1938, in London. Mr. Levy passed away in 1969.
She married Edward Friedman on July 19, 1974. Mr. Friedman died in 1996.
Mrs. Friedman sold womens designer clothing at the May Co.
She is survived by her cousins Evelyn (Richard) Saliman, Ronald (Audree) Saliman, Diane (Robert) Hochstadt, Ken (Joan) Saliman, all of Denver, and Adrea (Jack) Sukin of Florida; and many nieces and nephews in England and Israel.
