Leonard Kline

Leonard KlineLeonard “”Lonnie”” Kline, a real estate executive who worked at Jordon Perlmutter and Co., passed away Jan. 2, 2016, in Denver. Rabbi Yaakov Chaitovsky and Cantor Joel Lichterman officiated at the Jan. 4 service at BMH-BJ.

Interment followed at Golden Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

“”Growing up on the West Side of Denver, he had a never ending love of family, community and Judaism,”” his loved ones said.

““A real estate executive, an accomplished athlete, a father and family man, he was most proud of the title Zadie.””

Mr. Kline, a second-generation Colorado native, was born in 1931 in Denver to the late Melvin and Helen Kline.

He attended Cheltenham Elementary, Lake Junior and North High School and looked forward to reunions and social functions with all his classmates.

Mr. Kline earned his JD from DU Law School but never practiced law.

He was married to Roberta Kline for over 60 years.

Mr. Kline enjoyed a long and successful career with Jordon Perlmutter and Co. (formerly Perl-Mack).

A basketball player who also excelled at handball and softball, he was an avid sports and life-long Bronco fan.

Mr. Kline is survived by his wife Roberta Kline; sons Evan (Ellen) Kline, Dale (Laurie) Kline and Jeff (Sandi) Kline; and his grandchildren, triplets Cheris, Monica Kline and Elana (Andronik) Mamayan.

He was predeceased by his son Joel Kline.
