Larry Margolis

Larry MargolisLarry Byron Margolis, 82, passed away July 20, 2014, at Shalom Park Care Center. Rabbi Steven Rubenstein officiated at the July 24 service at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

Mr. Margolis was born March 27, 1932, in Youngstown, Ohio. He graduated from Youngstown High and Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Stationed in Panama during the Korean War, he served with the US Air Force from 1950-1954.

Mr. Margolis married Hedy Louise Berger on Dec. 30, 1962.

Employed in the wholesale sales industry, he also worked as an account manager.

Mr. Margolis resided in Chicago, Ill., Albuquerque, NM, and Scottsdale, Ariz., before moving to Lakewood, Colo., in 1970.

A member of the El Jebel Shrine and Lakewood Elks, he belonged to the HEA.

Mr. Margolis is survived by Hedy Louise, his wife of 52 years; children Sharon Beth (Kris) Anderson, Robert Alan Margolis and David Jeffrey Margolis; and granddaughters Jordan, Brianne and Ellery, all of Lakewood.
