The Denver Community Kollel announces that Rabbi Eli and Gitty Mozes are the latest addition to the Kollel family.
They arrived in Denver immediately after Sukkot to fill the void created by the departure of the Mandel family.
Rabbi Mozes, 26, hails from Lakewood, NJ, and Gitty Mozes, 24, is a Chicago native. They resided in Lakewood, NJ, since their marriage and have two young children, Baruch and Miriam.
Its evident to anyone who meets Reb Eli that he is a dynamic, talented individual who will add greatly to the Kollel and the Southeast community, says Kollel Dean Rabbi Shachne Sommers.
Gitty Mozes, who taught in STARS, a school for children with minor learning disabilities, during her time in Lakewood, has begun teaching the four-year-old group at Aish Preschool.
Rabbi Mozes, in addition to joining the Kollels daily internal study sessions, is giving classes and holding one-on-one study sessions.
Rabbi Mozes has given many classes in Lakewood and Yardley, Penn., during the past five years.
The Mozes family brings a great combination to Southeast, says Rabbi Moshe Heyman, the Kollels Southeast program director. They come with a great deal of experience in outreach activities, along with a broad knowledge of many Torah subjects.
Denver is a beautiful Jewish community, with a small town closeness, says Rabbi Mozes.
