Josephine H. Eskanos, a native and lifelong resident of Denver, passed away Nov. 24, 2011. Funeral services, with Rabbi Joe Black officiating, took place Nov. 25 at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Born in Denver on Nov. 16, 1926, Mrs. Eskanos was educated at East High School and the University of Denver.
She married Laurence Eskanos on March 13, 1949 and was predeceased by him on June 8, 1969.
Mrs. Eskanos worked as the executive secretary for Laco Construction.
Survivors include her sons Mark (Gayle) Eskanos of Aurora, Scott (Donna Pope) Eskanos of Highlands Ranch and Craig (Vicki) Eskanos of Aurora; her sister Jeanne Cohan of Denver; and grandchildren Lauren (Mitch) Tulper of Centennial, Liza (David) McGuire, Jacob Eskanos and Hannah Eskanos, all of Aurora.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to BMH-BJ Synagogue.
