Jeanne Cohan

Jeanne Claire Cohan, a native and lifelong Denverite, passed away Dec. 22, 2012, in Denver. Cantor Maurice Weiss officiated at the Dec. 23 graveside service at Rose Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

“She was a lovely, cheerful woman who derived great joy from her family,” her loved ones said.

Mrs. Cohan was born Oct. 1, 1928, in Denver. She graduated East High and attended DU.

Jeanne Silverberg married Robert Cohan on March 13, 1949. Mr. Cohan passed away Feb. 17, 2000.

A homemaker, Mrs. Cohan worked at Aurora Public Schools for 10 years.

Mrs. Cohan is survived by her children Evan (Wendy) Cohan, Susan (Barry) Perow and Carrie (Mark) Goldman; and grandchildren Erin, Ryan, Benjamin, Michael, Sara, Jason and Maura.
