Jean B. Weisberg, who took great pride in her family, passed away Nov. 13, 2013, a day before her 94th birthday, in Aurora.
Rabbi Steven Rubenstein officiated at the Nov. 14 graveside service at Golden Hill Cemetery and a memorial service at Shalom Cares. Shalom Funeral Service made the arrangements.
She will be missed by all who knew her, the family said.
Jenny Berger was born Nov. 14, 1919, in Staunton, Ill. She moved to Denver with her family at age 10.
She married Leo Weisberg in 1946. They had a long and happy marriage and raised three daughters. Mr. Weisberg passed away Sept. 12, 2004.
Jean relished being a wife and mother, as well as her part-time job in the boys clothing department at Sears. She retired from Sears at age 62.
Jean is survived by her three daughters Eileen Dumas of Denver, Sandra (Stephen) Prairie of Danville, Calif., and Joan (Phillip) Friedman of Ft. Collins; grandchildren Andrew (Karen) Prairie, Jessica (Michael) Amortegui and Samuel (Weilin) Guleff; and great-grandchildren Hayden, Addison and Claire Prairie, Sebastian and Dylan Amortegui and Benjamin Yue Guleff.
