[dropcap]Jean[/dropcap] Nancy Geldin, 84, passed away on May 2, 2020, in Denver. Rabbi Birdie Becker officiated at the private graveside service at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

“Jean’s sons were her pride and joy,” the family said, “and she was a loving and supportive grandmother.

“She was her son Jeffrey’s biggest advocate, supporting him to overcome challenges and proud of all that he has achieved.”

Mrs. Geldin was born on April 2, 1936, in Rochester, NY to Hyman and Fannie Brown (Abromowitz). She graduated Benjamin Franklin High School and attended Buffalo State College.

Mrs. Geldin and her first husband Herbert Steron raised their twin sons in Rochester.

In 1973, she married Irving Geldin. They were together 15 years before he died.

Mrs. Geldin remained in Arizona for 27 years, eventually moving to Denver to be closer to her two sons and grandchildren.

Jean Geldin is survived by her sons Jeffrey Steron and Marc (Kelly) Steron; her stepchildren Cynthia Geldin and Stewart (Karen) Geldin; and her grandchildren Michael and Mara Steron.
