Jayne Schetina

Jayne Schetina, who spent her successful professional career working in interior design showrooms, passed away Dec. 28, 2020, in Centennial. Rabbi Steven Foster officiated at the private graveside service Dec. 31 at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

“Jayne lived every moment of her life with enthusiasm,” the family said. “She was a caring and charismatic woman who drew people to her.”

Mrs. Schetina was born April 26, 1933, in Denver. She attended East High School and CU.

She was married to Sidney Schetina, an interior designer in Denver. He passed away in 2018.

Mrs. Schetina loved reading, playing the piano and listening to music, in addition to playing games, solving puzzles and improving her mind.

She also loved being outdoors and communing with nature.

Jayne Schetina is survived by her daughters Karen (Evan) Harolds of Castle Rock and Karen Schetina (David Japka) of Los Angeles, and sons Mark Schwartz (Kathryn Deringer) of Ohio and Gregory (Elizabeth) Schetina of California; brother Max Epstein (Judith Carr) of California; and grandchildren Saul Schwartz, Ari Schwartz, Sam Schetina, Catherine Schetina and Matthew Schetina.
