Idella Mark

Idella Idella (Bobbie) Mark, a lifetime Denver resident, passed away Aug. 15, 2009, in Denver. Cantors Joel Lichterman and Isaac Kutner officiated at the Aug. 18 service at BMH-BJ. Internment followed at Golden Hill Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

“People from around the world are fondly remembering that Bobbie always had an open door to her home and a seat at her table where her love, ebullient spirit and outstanding cooking warmed the hearts and souls of all knew her,” the family said.

She was born May 13, 1928, to the late Sara and Sam Kauvar and graduated from North High School.

Married to Andre Mark for 57 years, Mrs. Mark was an incredible homemaker.

She worked as an executive secretary at National Jewish Hospital and in her husband’s real estate business.

Her interests included traveling, Mah Jongg, poker, reading, and belonging to Hadassah and other Jewish organizations.

Mrs. Mark is survived by her husband Andre Mark of Denver; children Sanford Mark of Denver, Judith Mark-Pizer (Dr. Scott Pizer) of Denver, Debra Mark of Denver and Dr. Saralyn Mark (Capt. Lance Jensen) of Washington, DC; and grandchildren Aaron Kaplan of Virginia and Alexa Pizer of Ft. Collins.
