Hyman Moishe Goren, a proud veteran of the US Armed Forces, passed away on Veterans Day, Nov. 11, 2015, in Denver. Rabbi Richard Rheins officiated at the Nov. 13 graveside service at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.
Mr. Goren was born in Omaha, Neb., moved to Denver and grew up on the West Side.
His first language was Yiddish but he mastered English at school. He graduated from North High.
Mr. Goren worked in real estate until his retirement.
His wife Maxine passed away in 1990.
Mr. Goren is survived by his sister Selma Fox of San Francisco; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and four nieces.
He is mourned by his loving partner Phyllis Goodman.
