How will you break your chametz fast?

Is it too early to talk about chametz?

We’re big fans of Passover food, especially the empty palette that a piece of matzah offers for myriad toppings. But at about this time during Passover, we start to think about our chametz favorites. So we thought we’d ask you what chametz food you plan to break your “Passover” fast with. For some, it will simply be the daily routine of cereal or toast at breakfast on Monday. Others may head out late Sunday for a yeast-risen treat. Still others may have stocked up on bagels in preparation for a special Monday morning breakfast.

Or you a member of the unique class of people who become so accustomed to going chametz-free, that come sundown on the eighth day, you don’t even crave it. You may even be sad to see your days of matzah, butter and jam in the rearview mirror.

What chametz food will it be for you? What do you crave during the holiday, and what’s your traditional first post-Passover treat? Vote in our poll below, and share your chametz — or non-chametz — moments in a comment.
