Honey Rose Gilbert

Honey Rose GilbertHoney Rose Gilbert, a resident of Denver since 1947, passed away April 21, 2013, in Denver. Rabbi Joe Black and Cantors Regina Heit and Maurice Weiss officiated at the April

23 graveside service at Emanuel Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

Mrs. Gilbert was born April 10, 1917, in Bryan, Texas, and graduated from Texas State Women’s University in Denton.

In May, 1945, she married Sol Gilbert. Mr. Gilbert passed away in October, 2006. She was a longtime teacher at Palmer

Elementary School. Mrs. Gilbert is survived by children

Steve (Cathy) of Newport Beach, Calif., and Shelley (Richard) Hirsh of Dallas; grandchildren Daniel (Sarah) Gilbert of Omaha, Douglas (Catherine) Gilbert and Aimee Hirsh, both of Dallas; and great-grandchildren Micah, Noemi, London, Lila and Sol.
