“Harriet, also known as ‘Annie’ to her family, gave generously of her time and cared deeply about those around her,” the family said.

“She was a cherished family member, loyal friend, and valued member of the Denver Jewish community.”

Miss Saper was born Jan. 10, 1949, in Denver. A graduate of George Washington High, she lived in Colorado for her entire life.

A career professional in medical management, Miss Saper joined Dr. Ted Engel’s OB-GYN practice in the early 1970s.

She later worked for Dr. Susan Moison, and retired in 2017.

Miss Saper never missed a family celebration, whether it was a birthday, piano recital, Bar Mitzvah, seder or Jewish High Holiday.

“She was always there for family and friends, with a gift at the ready, kind words of encouragement, a smile and a laugh,” her loved ones said.

Miss Saper was exceptionally close with her mother Rose, with whom she lived until her death in 2010.
