This years crop of entries was particularly interesting, with young artists using crayons, markers, water colors, tempera paints, fabrics, metallic materials, beads, and many more inventive media to create their impressions of Chanukah.
Entries came from towns and cities across Colorado: Denver, Aurora, Boulder, Centennial, Englewood, Evergreen, Greenwood Village, Cherry Hills Village, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Lakewood, Westminster, Arvada, Golden, Morrison, Vail, Edwards, Avon and Steamboat Springs.
The winning entries published in the December 7 Chanukah edition of the Intermountain Jewish News are on display at Childrens Hospital Colorado through December 13.
Winners will be honored at a ceremony at Childrens Hospital Colorado, Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, at 4:15 p.m.
