Iran sows the seeds of war against Israel, and were supposed to believe Iran will give up its nuclear program
We’re stunned. Absolutely nonplussed. Sec. of State John Kerry has announced that after six months of negotiations with Iran, explicitly designed to stop Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon, the matter is still unsettled. Who would have believed?
Children in Sderot would have believed. Israelis in bomb shelters around the country would have believed. The commander of the Tehran-originated Klos-C — the ship that Israel seized last March, carrying Syrian-made, long-range M-302 rockets — would have believed. The parents of the three Israeli kidnapped teens would have believed. Actually, who wouldn’t have believed?
Iran’s actions speak clearly: Arms to Israel’s enemies; an end to Israel. Actually, Iran’s words in negotiations speak just as clearly: We shall not shut down our military, nuclear capacities, just reduce them. The US, France and others have accepted that. Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu is the odd man out in his call for a complete closure of Iran’s nuclear weapons capacity.
The fighting in Gaza is not only about Gaza. It is about Iran: its supply of weapons, past and future.
