Gov. Polis signs joint resolution authorizing Rose statue

long last, Maurice Rose will be coming home to Denver. Not in the flesh, of course, since the much decorated US Army major general died from enemy fire in the waning days of the European theater of WW II. And not in terms of being buried here either, since Rose’s body has reposed in an American military cemetery in the Netherlands since shortly after his death and isn’t going anywhere.
