Gerald Polokoff

Gerald PolokoffGerald Frank Polokoff, who was devoted to his wife Shirley of 65 years, passed away April 3, 2014, in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Rabbi Keren Gorban and Cantor Bryan Zive of Temple Sinai officiated at the April 6 graveside service at Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Feldman Mortuary made the arrangements.

Mr. Polokoff was born June 24, 1925, in Kansas City, Mo. He graduated Wyandotte High School in Kansas City and attended the University of Kansas.

A member of the US Navy during WW II, he lived in Denver, California and Colorado Springs.

Mr. Polokoff married Shirley Levitt on Feb. 6, 1949.

Involved in manufacturing and recruiting, he also worked as an office manager.

He was past president of the state lodge of B’nai B’rith Men and several homeowners’ associations.

Mr. Polokoff is survived by his wife Shirley Polokoff; sister Beverly Polokoff of California; daughters Stefanie (Gary) Neumann, Andi (Bob) Leopoldus and Robin (Gary) Patterson; grandchildren Jenny Ball, Missy O’Brian, Brad Leopoldus. Jessica and Joshua Patterson; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Grandson Matthew Neumann predeceased Mr. Polokoff in 2012.
