: The Trial of Viviane Amsalem,” a movie limited to a courtroom and the waiting area outside the courtroom, tells the story of a secular Israeli woman seeking a divorce (get) from her religious husband Elisha. She became engaged at age 15 and now has four children. Viviane stopped loving her husband a long time ago and left him before the film begins. Her trial continues for five years — and then some.
