YAD, a community program of the Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado and The Young Adult Professionals Council, will present the annual Be There conference for Jewish adults in their 20s, 30s and early 40s on Tuesday, April 5, 5:30-9 p.m., at the Pinnacle Club in the Grand Hyatt Denver.
The Maven for this event is Kelli Trotsky Pfaff, creator of Be There.
Chairs are Michelle Nikolayeysky, Adam Burstein and Alan Reifler.
The event will feature the film, Sderot: Rock in the Red Zone, by director Laura Bialis/
The film is about how the people of Sderot deal with the terror of regular bombing through culture and music. After seeing the film and speaking with the director, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in breakout sessions.
Nikolayeysky says, Be There is an opportunity for our community to come together for a unique purpose. From the agency fair to our keynote speaker, it is my hope that the attendees learn something new, connect with peers and walk away feeling inspired and empowered as Jews.

Burstein says, I am thrilled to be a part of helping to connect Jews to our community, our local agencies, and all of their resources.
This years conference features a fantastic keynote speaker and breakout sessions that will energize participants in our community.
Reifler adds, Be There is about reaching out and engaging young adult Jews in our community by exposing them to Jewish culture and community agencies and their resources.

Preceding the film and speaker will be an agency fair, organized by the young adult council and geared towards educating the community on resources to get involved.
Local community organizations will gather at 5:30-6:30 p.m. to increase awareness about partnering organizations and ways to engage.
Food will be served and dietary laws observed.
