Esther Miller

Esther MillerEsther Miller, a flight attendant with Delta Airlines for 35 years, passed away Dec. 18, 2011, in Denver. Rabbi Selwyn Franklin and Cantor Joel Lichterman officiated at the graveside service at Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Shalom Funeral Service made the arrangements.

“Esther’s greatest hobby was socializing with different people,” the family said. “She was also very interested in world affairs and enjoyed having long, enlightening conversations with her husband Reuben Miller. Everywhere Esther went, she got to know the complete background of the person she spoke to — and managed to connect that person to someone else she knew.”

Mrs. Miller was born March 27, 1951, in Israel. She came to the US with her parents at age seven, grew up on the West Side of Denver and graduated from North High.

In 1971, Mrs. Miller moved to Denver’s East Side. She married Reuben Miller on June 22, 1986. Mr. Reuben passed away on May 17, 2007.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her son Adiv Miller of Denver and daughter Nurit (Asi) Shlomo of Highlands Ranch; grandson Zeev Shlomo of Highlands Ranch; mother Goldie Farkas of Denver; and sisters Helen Hershkovich and Rosie Sabetay, both of Denver.
