Elizabeth Bohm

Elizabeth “Liz” Bohm, mother of Denverite Lorie Klumb, passed away July 15, 2017, in Overland Park, Kan. Rabbi David Glickman and Cantor Tahl Ben-Yehuda officiated at the July 17 service at Louis Memorial Chapel. Interment followed at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City. Louis Memorial Chapel made the arrangements.

Mrs. Bohm was born March 10, 1927, in Kansas City, Mo. She lived in Kansas City and Overland Park most of her life.

Elizabeth Viscofsky married Jack Bohm on Sept. 27, 1947. Mr. Bohm passed away on Oct. 4, 2008.

Mrs. Bohm was a longtime member of Congregation Beth Shalom, where she was past president of the sisterhood and a life member of the board.

Past president of the Heart of America chapter of B’nai B’rith Women, she belonged to the Women’s Council of B’nai B’rith and the Reserve Officers Assn.  Ladies Club for the State of Missouri.

Mrs. Bohm is survived by her children Bob (Linda Tacomis) Bohm of Orlando, Fla., Rick (Lori) Bohm of Hastings on Hudson, NY, and Lorie (Will) Klumb of Denver; and grandchildren Lisa Klumb, Traci Klumb, Allie Bohm and Daniel Bohm.
